Alright, I’m about to let you in on a little secret that I’ve been keeping for about a year. You have to realize that It’s not going to be easy for me — I’m putting myself out there BIG TIME — so I need your word as my friend not to completely disown me. Are you in?
Okay, so I have these jeans. Three pair of them, actually. And they are absolutely flawless. The fit minimizes any and all flaws in the butt/hip/thigh area, the length is ideal for wearing 4″ stilettos (high-waters, no thanks), and the wash… Ohh, the wash… ultra dark and slimming and perfect and fabulous and you get it already, so I’ll shut it.
Anyway, these great jeans are only $24.99. Seriously! So, if you’re asking yourself what the big, dark secret is, let me just say is has to do with where I found them. I– I can’t even bring myself to say the name, but I’ll give you a hint:
Take this man’s initials…
add it to one of these…
and let the horror ensue.
Anyway, Mixit brand jeans are great, I love them, and I don’t care if my Great-Grandma shops at Penny’s owns a pair… I’m still rockin’ em.
Oh good ol’ JC the carpenter. I still laugh to myself when I think of that part of Meet the Parents. I must admit I have not been to JC Penny’s since my mom would take me there for school shopping in elementary school, but it sounds like I’m missing out. Were those the fabulous jeans you were wearing this weekend? I meant to compliment you on them.

hey, there aint no shame in loving a pair of JCP jeans! I’m glad you said that they are a good length… the picture is a spec deceiving, no?

Ok, I thought I was the only one with this deep, dark secret! LOL! I don’t care…I love the fact that they come in petite too! Besides, it does not matter where the jeans come from as long as they make you look good! BTW, did you know if you go to JCPsurvey.com and enter in your receipt number and do the little survey you can get a printable coupon for 15% off your next purchase?? Just a little savings to make the next trip to JC Penney’s a little less painful!

I find all sorts of great stuff at unexpected stores too. I actually found the PERFECT bridesmaid dress (for my brother’s upcoming wedding) at JC Penny, after searching high and low at a billion other stores!

On more than one occasion recently, I’ve seen a cute dress or top in a magazine and to my amazement, it’s listed as available at JC Penney. What is going on!? I haven’t been into one of those in probably 10 years. Maybe it’s time to give it another try!
