Longest. Week. Ever.
Seriously, what’s up with this? As soon as I said, “Man, these past few weeks have flown by!”, time suddenly stood still. OH YEAHHHH, now I remember why…
On Tuesday, my doctor so lovingly crushed my dreams and told me I was measuring at 27 weeks and 4 days, which is a full 3 days behind where I thought I was. Pshh, I say. I’m going to continue moving up to the next week on Wednesdays, like I have been all along.
I am just glad I can finally say I’m 7 months pregnant. This little girl is making an appearance sometime around Thanksgiving… I just hope she times it out right so that I can still eat all the yummy food. Hey, don’t judge. I wait all year for this! :)

My birthday is the day after Thanksgiving. Maybe I’ll share a birthday with your little bean.

you look great. just because you are measuring “behind” doesn’t mean that you aren’t actually 28 weeks along. it doesn’t go hand in hand.

Who knows, maybe next week she’ll measure out to 29 weeks.
this is where it really starts to slow down, at least it did for me. I’m so excited for you!

Ha, I know how you feel. Since I first got pregnant and checked my due date on ivillage, JANUARY 19TH, I always go by that day, even though when I went in to the doctor they told me JANUARY 20TH. I know it’s just one day, but still, it’s 1 WHOLE DAY! 24 HOURS!
I also didn’t like when they did the ultrasound and said oh you’re measuring about 19 weeks and 2 days, when I was really 19 weeks and 4 days…..
It’s just all this built up waiting…and then they want to make you wait even more.
