Just to hold you over…

2008
Believe it or not, I didn’t fall off the face of the earth! This week has been crazy, busy, and WONDERFUL, and I’m stealing a few minutes here and there to try to finish up the whole birth story to share with you all. It was very textbook, but let me just say that castor oil was involved and it wasn’t pretty. So very awfully unpretty. But more on that later. :)
I love you all and am loving all the sweet comments you’ve been leaving. More from Mama Priss very soon.

Morgan, she is just beautiful. I hope you’re getting some rest and recovering easily. ~ Elizabeth

Castor oil? Yikes! Can’t wait to hear about it. These birthing stories always make me feel better. I’m not even pregnant and I fear giving birth!!

Congratulations! she’s beautiful.
I somehow was led to your site a while back and have been checking in as I am 38weeks pregnant and it’s been interesting to watch as we were close and going thru the same things. This is my 1st child also.
Now seeing you and your little maddie makes this so much more real.. that I will be holding one soon too! eek!
Hope the birth wasn’t too bad! Please don’t tell me it was if it was… my ultra sound showed my scarlett weighing at 6.9lbs already!!!
anyway, I enjoyed reading about your journey here and really enjoy your blog!
all the best,
J.

YAY!
I’m so glad you posted. Can’t WAIT for the birth story. ;) (I read a ton of mommy blogs, so I’m used to that sort of thing.)
Make sure to include details about HOW MUCH it actually hurt. You know, for those of us trying to figure out if we’re ready yet.
For the pain.
And the not sleeping.
Heehee. You rock. Have fun. :-P
