When I was talking about what a major milestone 25 weeks was for me FIVE WHOLE WEEKS AGO, this adorable mama-to-be said, “25 weeks is a good milestone. 30 is even better!”
That statement couldn’t have been more true, let me tell you!
Even though I’m up 30 pounds from February (I wonder why?), starting to get a little uncomfortable with this growing belly, and apparently “containing water” (per the moronic janitor in my office complex that I will seriously punch in the face next time), there’s such a comfort in knowing that I’ll be meeting my daughter within the next ten weeks. I’m starting the big countdown now, and can worry about shedding those pounds then, right? Right.
(Please tell me I’m right…)
WOW, you look great for 30 weeks!!!! Congrats on your soon to be baby girl!!!
RIGHT! ;)
Soooooooooo cuuuute. 10 weeks..is REALLY soon! How crazy…it seems like it wasn’t long ago at all that you told us you were pregnant!!!!
Woohoo!
Looking cute.
And don’t you worry about losing weight just yet! You’re still growing a babeeee! :)
seriously you are the most photogenic pregnant woman! I love your awesome shoes in every picture you post. ….. I think someone needs a maternity session!
right!!! :) And anyway, you look wonderful right NOW. I can’t believe you only have 10 weeks left!! WOOHOO!
You will be this skinny little mama you watch. I can’t wait to see you be a mom. I just got all teary eyed. I can’t wait to hold her and love on her…none of this cousin business you guys are Uncle Justin and Auntie Morgan so … well nuff said. Gosh those last 10 weeks go by so fast. Any advice, get your rest clean and clean and clean, cause when she is here you will be TIRED and just want to stare at her lil self for hours. We have videos of Jenna laying there to prove it. I am so excited!!!!
Alyssa: SERIOUSLY. It’s going by fast now! I think I had just found out when I started this blog… so weird!
Shea: Aww, Auntie Shea! I really hope the last 10 weeks fly by… I’m getting the urge to clean everything in sight already. There’s SO much to do! I guess staying busy with that and the baby showers (YAY) will help the time go by quickly. :D
you look incredible! and flats, finally! haha. i can’t believe it’s just ten more weeks til your little girl is here, so excited! xoxo
ahh, don’t worry about the pounds until the baby is a few months. you’ll be so tired, you won’t care! plus, if your breastfeeding, that will help speed up the process.
you look great! My big belly started bothering me at 34 weeks so I bought a belly band to help support it. It really helped my back!
Rachel: Haha, you noticed the flats! I GUESS I can deal with them for a few more weeks… if I must. :)
MissB: Oh yeah, I’ve heard about the belly band thing… I’ll have to try it out! I hear it helps after the baby’s born too, to help your stomach flatten out.
Those are some pretty darn cute flats. AND I LOVE YOUR BELLAH!
omg I’m getting so excited for yoU!!!!!! …but still, you are too tiny to drop a baby in 10 weeks!!!! aaaah, I can’t wait! You look adorable, btw, love the flats!
Yes! My midwife said she just delivered a mom and the mom lost 25 lbs the day of delivery just in baby, shrinking uterus, amniotic fluid and placenta.
…loveMaegan: Thanks! :) A girl asked me how far along I was yesterday and I said “almost 8 months” and she looked at me like I was nuts. I guess that’s a good thing?
Lisa: OH THANK YOU, JESUS! There is hope! haha. Aren’t you about to pop any second now? I keep checking your blog for updates. :)
You are so adorable!!! And yeah, 30 pounds is nothing! You look soooo good!!!! And yes, Emilypie is right — loving your shoes! So the cute! You are rocking, you stylish mama to be! How exciting that you’re at 30 weeks! Yay for you!
You look adorable! I gained 35 pounds with both of my boys. My 2nd one was 6 weeks early, so I’m scared to think about how much I would’ve gained if I went full term. :) Once your beautiful baby is here, you’ll be much too entranced to worry about your weight! You’ll lose it when you lose it!
you look so good for 30 weeks! and I don’t think you’ll need to worry about losing weight after, with the way you look the pounds will probably just melt off
Casey: Have I mentioned how much I love you? hahaha
Yay 30 weeks!!!! I can’t WAIT to be 30 weeks… I still have a few to go. You look GREAT!!!!
i had my daughter 12 days ago and i’m *this close* to fitting into my old jeans. :)
30 weeks! it’s so exciting, cause the closer you get to meeting your baby girl, the closer I get to meeting my baby boy.
NO way are you up 30 pounds (even though I know that would be perfectly normal). I don’t believe it. And what brand are those jeans? They look great on you!
You’ll shed the pounds, don’t worry, but honestly, you won’t even be thinking of that for awhile- you’ll be thinking about two things you miss most: sleep and regular showers, lol. But it’s ALL worth it, I swear.
YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL, punch her next time..or just belly bump her..she deserves it!
Loving your shoes!! Which are just as cute as the heels and much safer, I presume! =)
Hi! Thanks for well wishes over on my blog today. I’ve been reading your blog for a bit now too! I think you are the cutest pregnant girl EVER!!! I hope I can look half as good as you look at 30 weeks!
Hey, thanks for your comment on my blog! Your blog is very fun, and you are an adorable pregnant lady. I can’t believe how tiny you are considering you’re at 30 weeks (yes, even “tiny” can be a relative term…compared to me at 30 weeks, you’re a twig). I’ll stop gushing about how good you look now, because with 3 kids of my own I know how old it got when people would say, “but you look great!”….and I felt like a waddling hippo.
Best wishes to you with your upcoming arrival!
